Aggregate audio devices under OS X

This is something of a hidden feature, hence my blogging it here. In OS X 10.4 the ability to combine multiple audio interfaces into a single aggregated device was added. This is great if you have two physical audio interfaces, and you want to use them both simultaneously in an application that only supports single devices. For example, it works great in tandem with Jack, creating the possibility to make all of your hardware inputs and outputs available for Jack routing. This tutorial shows you how.
