The current CVS version of dssi~ is 0.95. The software is now considered stable, and is known to be in successful use by members of the PD community, which is pleasing!
Changes since 0.8 include:
- Added support for LADSPA plugins
- Added plugin search, and ‘smart loading’ using Richard W.E. Furse’s jload library.
- Added ‘listplugins’ and ‘info’ methods
- Reorganised in/outlet structure including making first outlet a control data outlet
- Fixed LADSPA control port mapping
Future plans include:
-Adding the ability to query a plugin’s supported configure keys (this will require modifications to the DSSI spec)
