Import E-mu 64 samples into Kontakt

Approach 1: Initially tried to find software that would enable the Mac to read E-mu disks natively. Best option seemed to be Cdxtract www.cdxtract.com. Unfortunately it was unable to read the E-mu 64 formatted disks. Approach 2: All three disks for ‘Madonna’ were loaded into memory on the E-mu ESynth. Individual patches were then written to disk using the sampler’s ‘export’ function. Initially E-mu IV disk format was tried, with the samples written as E-mu IV. Neither OSX or Cdxtract could read this, so the samples were then exported to an MS-DOS formatted disk as AIFF files. OSX could ‘see’ the files, but was unable to read the data. Windows XP also failed to read the data.
